I've found a new girl crush to join the exclusive Alexa club.
For what is probably the complete opposite end of the sartorial spectrum to Chung emerges Gillian Zinser, who plays Ivy in Beverly Hills drama 90210. Her personal style is a mixture of off-duty surfer babe insousiance peppered with bohemian spirit. What I love most is that she doesn't favour conventional, girlish cocktail dresses, but instead opts for long hemlines and toughens up a feminine frock with boyish accessories. a leather jacket, or even a Fedora hat. As you've all probably gathered I'm not the girliest of girls, so Gillian's laid-back aesthetic merging a comfortable-chic with California cool fits me perfectly. Especially since the weather finally picked up, yay! It was times like this week that I wished I went to a uni near the coast. Surf's upppp!

Wow, I did it. I've put an outfit together with not one item from Topshop! Unintentionally of course, but it is embarassing how rarely that happens. I'm really trying to branch away from the saturated market of Toppers but sometimes it's just so convenient. However H&M is really moving up in my fashion books, thanks to the coveted Marni collection which only blackmails my bank card. I have every intention of heading to the big store at Meadowhall as soon as loan day arrives!
I'm warning you all now that next week's blog post will be visually-invaded by an onslaught of photos.. Me and Dan turn 2 next week, so we're going away to Amsterdam for a couple of days! I can't wait. The threat of snow is rather unsettling though seeing as I've managed to only bring home Spring apparel for Easter..how was I to know Santa was visiting again so soon?! :(
