I’ve had a good week.
I went out on Wednesday for my coursemate’s birthday, who decided the theme would be a blend of TOWIE, Made in Chelsea, Jersey Shore… You get the picture. Me & Charlotte decided we’d go as Desperate Scousewives. Now I don’t actually watch ANY of the aforementioned programmes but apparently they go out with rollers in their hair…? So we went for it.

I couldn’t quite bring myself to do the fake-tan as well! But the boys made up for it. They slapped so much on they looked like oompa loompas, it was such a funny night. As promised, I said I’d let you know how the ASOS creepers went.. They’re definitely as comfortable as if I was wearing flats! However I had to break them in as they were new so were rather unforgiving on my heels annoyingly! Still determined to wear them as much as possible though! I can’t wait to wear them as soon as the weather gets a bit sunnier teamed with a maxi skirt.
On Friday, my @shopdixi goodies arrived! As you all probably know there was a big sale, so I couldn’t resist having a little browse which quickly turned into a little shop… The bulldog ring is my favourite!
I’ve become obsessed with nail art recently! On Saturday, I popped into Boots after having heard of this new No.17 Magnetic Nail Varnish…
I bought the navy blue one. At £5.99 it’s a little bit pricey, but it was way too cool a concept for me to pass up on! You paint it on like any other normal nail varnish, and then hover the magnetic strip which comes on the lid to create these wavy lines; very cool! My nail varnish collection is near-suffocating my make-up desk at the minute. But I love the expansion in the nail-market recently – it’s so much more than just a lick of paint these days. Has anyone else tried this product?
